This 5-session workshop will assist you in achieving a better understanding of what stress means and how it affects each of us differently. You will discover ways to cope with and manage stress.

  • Learn about self-care and its many forms, and discover the kinds of self-care that work for you
  • 2. Dealing with Stress – May 30, 3023
  • Learn ways to prevent and redirect stress and gain tension relief strategies
  • 3. How Stress Affects Us – May 31, 2023
  • Recognize the difference between good and bad stress
  • Take away a deeper understanding of the affects of stress
  • 4. Understanding Stress – June 1, 2023
  • What is stress to you
  • Recognizing your sources of stress; external vs internal stress
  • Identify your symptoms of stress
  • 5. Relaxation Techniques – June 2, 2023
  • Learn about meditation types
  • Experience progressive muscle relaxation, chair yoga, and tapping
  • Create art as a coping skill

Eligibility requirements
Sessions are stand-alone you are welcome to participate in all five sessions or you can choose which session(s) you are interested in.
